We study 6 strands or topics in our Mathematics program: number systems,
ratio and proportion number systems, ratio and porportion, algebra, data
management, geometry and measurement, and problem solving. Each of the 3 grades
do all 6 strands, with progressively more detail as the students move throughout
the grades. In the Grade 9 Algebra unit, we extend the curriculum to include
some work on polynomials. We hope this will enable our Grade 9's to become even
more prepared for the Grade 10 Math classes.
